Book club (ages 7-10)

These classes teach children to read books thoughtfully, analyze what they read and share opinions regarding plot and characters. Children should read a book before each lesson to discuss it with classmates and teachers. Children not only increase their word stock and get acquainted with famous tales of Dragunsky, Paustovsky, Nosov, Chekhov, but also gain the skills of retelling and expressing thoughts about what they read. The course is aimed at  arousing interest in reading in Russian through the acquaintance with such characters as Neznayka, Cheburashka and many others.

The book to be discussed is indicated in the Topic of the lesson when booking (select a date and time to find out the topic of the lesson). You can purchase the book yourself (buy a paper version or download it from the Internet), or download it from the link that we will provide after booking a lesson. The child should definitely read the book before coming to class.
