Speed reading is a skill that allows you to quickly perceive information in the form of text. The main principle of speed reading is to be able to extract the essence and meaning from the material read, reading it confidently and quickly.
Speed reading helps not only to eliminate errors in reading, such as involuntary change of letters, stammering, rearrangement of letters and syllables, missing endings, but also to increase the speed of reading by eliminating “braking” moments. Speed reading provides a toolkit that allows children to work through and correct emerging reading difficulties, and when reading does not cause difficulties, the child has a desire to read independently.
