Elena Vasilyeva
With the club since 2020
Elena is an artist, designer, and educator with a university degree in art. She has been passionate about creativity since childhood, first studying at art school and later continuing her education at the Faculty of Advertising and Design at Izhevsk State University.
After university, Elena worked as a designer and later became the head of a design bureau, where she led a team of young professionals working across a wide range of areas, from industrial design to print and advertising. At the same time, she continued developing her own artistic practice through sketching, painting, and decorative arts. Elena takes part in art exhibitions and competitions every year, and her works are held in collections of contemporary museums in Izhevsk, St. Petersburg, and Moscow.
Over time, Elena decided to share her professional experience with children and founded her own art studio for students ages 3 to 12. In her teaching, she focuses on helping each child develop an individual artistic voice, confidence, a sense of visual style, and a strong foundation in different techniques.
Elena also founded a creative volunteer group for children ages 8 to 14. Together, they create art installations, design public spaces, lead mini-workshops, and take part in social and educational projects. For Elena, creativity is not only about learning to draw — it is also a way for children to feel that their ideas matter and that what they create can have a positive impact on the world around them.
