In RuKidsClub, children learn the Russian language in group online using our unique method: we teach what will definitely come in handy in life. Classes in a friendly and positive atmosphere make studying Russian interesting, easy, and even fun for your kid!
Moreover, our classes include Russian speaking club for different levels of communication competence and also provide extracurricular Russian online.
Our target is to interest every kid and make sure that bilingual children use the Russian language as often as possible and with great pleasure!
Age
Russian language school lessons are distant and designed for children from 6 to 15 years old with any level of language proficiency.
Program
Our program is specially created for bilingual children from Russian-speaking families living abroad. Each Level (or sublevel) is 10 modules with 10 lessons. That’s why it is possible to join the Russian studying group as soon as possible.
Group
No more than 6 people in each groupчеловек.
Schedule
The schedule of classes is made according to your wishes and the complete set of the appropriate child’s age group of a certain level. The schedule of individual classes is made based on your wishes.
Teachers
RFL teachers (Russian as a Foreign Language) are experienced of working with children from different countries and various ages. Our teachers are distinguished by a modern creative approach, love for children, for their subject and a desire to teach children to speak Russian step by step as their mother language.
Price
Lessons cost is $13/lesson. Duration is 40-60 minutes (depending on the age of the students). Lessons can be purchased as a course (1 module) of 10 lessons (130$). The cost of an individual lesson is $20 for 40-60 minutes class, depending on the age of the student.
How to join?
At the initial stage, we conduct a trial lesson and determine the level of knowledge of the Russian language, and then we assign to the appropriate group with which it will be comfortable for the child to study. If you want to study individually, then after the test lesson we will determine a possible schedule and start our classes!

Training Program Description
Program for Junior Group (ages 6-9)
Quantity of hours: ≈ 100 – 10 modules each of 10 lessons.
Description of the level: The child will be able to communicate at an elementary level in a minimum number of situations of daily life using a limited set of language tools. This is the minimum level of communication competence.
Skills and abilities after completing the course of Russian for kids:
- Reading: the child will be able to understand familiar words and names, to read simple sentences; to have a skill to find the required information in small texts.
- Writing: children will be able to write short notes, postcards and messages; as simple as possible to tell about themselves, about friends, family, working day, free time based on questions; they will get the ability to fill out a short questionnaire about personal information (name, age, place of residence etc.).
- Listening: the ability to understand familiar words, simple phrases, main topics, the content of the spoken text and the speaker’s communicative intentions in short dialogues and monologues in daily communication situations, especially if the person speaks slowly, paraphrases and helps to understand him.
- Speaking: the ability to maintain a dialogue in simple situations; children will be able to answer questions about themselves, a friend, family, working day, free time, etc., especially if a person speaks slowly, paraphrases and helps to understand him.
Quantity of hours: ≈ 100 – 10 modules each of 10 lessons.
Description of the level: The child will be able to communicate at an elementary level in standard situations of daily life, he will have the simplest typical language tools. This is the initial level of communicative competence.
Skills and abilities after completing the course of Russian for kids:
- Reading: the ability to read very simple and short texts taken from daily life (magazines for children, advertisements, signs, inscriptions, announcements, menus, schedules, etc.); the child will be able to find specific (necessary) information in texts related to everyday life; to understand the main information (main ideas) in adapted texts on everyday topics (if it is a small simple text with a transparent logical structure and if there are illustrations for it).
- Writing: the ability to write a short letter, note, message; as simple as possible a child will be able to state the main content of the source text based on questions; to fill out a short questionnaire about himself (name, age, place of residence, interests, etc.).

Quantity of hours: 2 sublevels of 100 hours, each has 10 modules with 10 lessons.
Description of the level: The child will be able to communicate at an intermediate level in real situations of everyday life, he will know the basic language tools. This is the average level of communicative competence, that means the child’s ability to navigate in most standard daily situations and solve a significant part of everyday problems and tasks he faces.
Lexical minimum: ≈ 2000 units.

- Reading: the ability to read short texts from children’s magazines and books; texts taken from everyday life (magazines for children, advertisements, signs, inscriptions, announcements, menus, schedules, etc.); to understand educational and scientific teaching for children popular science and social, everyday texts in which fairly common words and constructions are used; understand the basic information (main ideas), the general content of what he reads, individual details, conclusions and assessments, feelings and intentions of an author.
- Writing: the ability to write a simple short coherent text on one well-known topic (about himself, about the family, school and studying, about the daily routine, free time, the place where he lives, health or a healthy lifestyle, the weather or the environment of the world; to present the content of the reading text or listened text on the proposed topic; write a short text on one of the topics of interest of the child.

- Reading: the ability to understand various texts of a descriptive and narrative nature with elements of reasoning, as well as texts with a clearly expressed author’s assessment; to read modern fiction (to follow the course of events outlined in text; to express the attitude to what the child read); to find actual information in the text, to highlight the main and secondary information; to define the theme and idea of the text.
- Writing: the ability to express the content of what the child read or heard in the form of a plan or synopsis; to write his own informative texts; to write messages on various topics, to prepare reports.

- Reading: the ability to understand and to interpret various texts related to the sociocultural environment and daily spheres of communication, as well as the fiction which the child reads; to understand texts of various styles and genres.
- Writing: the ability to write texts of various styles and genres, demonstrating the ability to analyze and evaluate information; to create written messages with a specific purpose and for a specific person; to write texts on a free or proposed topic.
- Listening skills: the ability to understand detailed messages of a complex structure, even if the semantic connections are not sufficiently expressed; to understand the sounding texts as a whole, to understand the details, to demonstrate the ability to evaluate what is heard and evaluate the speaker’s attitude to the subject of speech.
- Speaking: the ability to speak clearly and in detail on complex topics, to build complex statements in composition, to develop individual thoughts and to make conclusions; the ability to maintain a dialogue using a variety of language tools to implement various goals and tactics of speech communication.
