Speed reading

Speed reading is a skill that helps children process written information more quickly and efficiently. The key is not simply to read faster, but to understand the main idea and meaning of a text while reading with confidence and fluency.

Speed reading can help children overcome common reading difficulties, such as mixing up letters, hesitating, switching letters or syllables, or skipping word endings. By working on the habits that slow reading down, children can gradually improve both their reading speed and accuracy.

The course provides practical tools that help students identify and work through their individual reading challenges. As reading becomes easier and more comfortable, children often become more motivated to read independently.

Our group speed reading classes teach children how to read different types of texts quickly and effectively without losing comprehension.

The classes are designed for children who already read whole words rather than syllable by syllable. Children who are still reading by syllables or are just learning to read may benefit more from our Reading Skills classes.
