I am studying Russian because as a heritage speaker, it is important for me to preserve the language and pass it on to my children.

I signed up as an adult with RuKids Club to learn Russian so that I could interact more with my wife and her friends in their native language, and also because I enjoy learning languages in general.

I decided to take Russian because my wife is Russian and she speaks to our son in Russian. When he started getting good at speaking Russian, it peaked my curiosity. I also want to encourage him to learn as I think it is valuable to be able to speak multiple languages in the world today and I want what is best for him in the future. So I tried to learn with him and I started to enjoy it. Also because of my age, it is good to train your mind to learn new things to prevent cognitive decline.

I wanted to study Russian so that my children and I could engage more with my wife's family and culture, and also to try something new and challenging.

How do we get started? Do you offer a test (trial) lesson?

Very simple! In the upper right corner of the site, click the "Join the club" button and register. It's completely free. Then choose a convenient time for a trial lesson.

What curriculum do you use?

We use a structured curriculum tailored to bilingual children, combining reading, speaking, listening, and writing with engaging topics and practical activities.

What age do you work with? Do you teach adults?

We work with children across a wide age range, including early learners. Adult programs are not our primary focus, so reach out and we will advise the best option for you.

Can I choose the teacher? How does teacher selection work?

Teacher selection is always personalized. We consider the child's age, language level, personality, interests, learning goals and scheduling preferences, and pick a teacher who will be a good fit.
